The seller's description

TL Sting Carbon S4 | 2019 | 600kg | Dual G3X | AP | CS Prop | BRS

Very well equipped TL Sting Carbon S4 for sale, based at Deanland Airfield, East Sussex (EGKL). Built in 2019 and currently at approximately 525 hours total time, with engine hours essentially matching the airframe. Powered by the proven 100 hp Rotax 912ULS and fitted with the TL Ultralight PowerMax electronic constant speed, in flight adjustable propeller. The aircraft has an excellent Garmin avionics installation, including dual Garmin G3X displays, integrated Garmin autopilot, Garmin VHF radio and transponder, GPS navigation, ADS-B and traffic, together with a Garmin G5 battery backed independent standby flight display. A Stratos 07 Magnum 601 ballistic rescue system is fitted, with a fresh six year repack completed in 2026. Performance The Sting is a very capable and economical touring aircraft. In normal use I typically see around 110–115 kt cruise at approximately 19 litres per hour. It has the standard 77 litre fuel tank, giving a practical endurance of around three hours plus a 30 minute reserve. The aircraft is approved at 600 kg MTOW. Current empty weight is believed to be approximately 390 kg, subject to confirmation from the latest weight and balance documentation. Condition and care The aircraft is in good overall condition and mechanically in fine fettle. It is hangared all year round and kept in a heated hangar during the winter months. There are a few minor cosmetic areas which could benefit from some attention, as you would expect from an aircraft that is regularly flown and enjoyed, but overall it presents well and has been properly looked after.
