Engine replaced at aircraft 933hrs with engine supplied by Dave Almey at Skycraft. No 22A3446, with larger 40mm carb, at just 240 hrs, after precautionary overhaul. Hercules 58x38 prop fitted at aircraft 925hrs. Noticeable improvement on the Jab prop. Dual power electric ice-away carburetor heater fitted for carefree flying. Engine currently at just 261hrs, after annual service, with oil and filter change, etc. Cruise at 90knt with usual Jabiru economy of 13-14lts/hr. 65 Litre tank lining restricts fuel to Avgas.
