Packed with an outstanding panel including dual Garmin G5s, GTN650Xi, GNS430W 8.33kHz, and GFC500 autopilot, this is the ultimate 6-seat, 650nm long-range tourer. SPECIFICATIONS • Aircraft: 1973 fixed gear Piper Cherokee Six 300. • Registration: G-IFFR, operated on Private C of A. • Airframe: @7,300 hours. • Engine: 300 hp Lycoming IO 540: Zero-houred (zero-timed engine overhaul) by Gama Aviation, Oxford, completed September 2025. Approx 50 hours flown since then. • Propellor: Hartzell 3 bladed constant speed prop, fitted 2004. 6-year overhaul in 2022. • Avionics: major refit to excellent spec in 2022: o Garmin G5 AI o Garmin G5 HSI o Garmin GTN650Xi navigator o Garmin GFC500 autopilot o Garmin GNS430W (fitted 2010) coupled to Garmin GI 106A CDI + glideslope (providing full back system for navigation and approaches) o Garmin GTX330 Mode S Transponder o Garmin GMA340 audio panel o FlightStream 210 o PilotAware (with fitted internal aerials) • Exterior: Bare metal respray to the current paint scheme in 2010. Still looking good • Interior: Six forward-facing adult seats with an additional child seat in the middle of the centre row (i.e. 2-3-2). G-IFFR was reupholstered in 1997. Looks a bit dated but tidy. • Incidental equipment: six-place Winslow liferaft, 6 life jackets and portable SAR beacon. • Weights: MTOW: 3400 lbs, Aircraft: 2000 lbs, Max fuel 500 lbs, so 900 lbs available for pilot, pax and baggage. • Location: currently located at Duxford, but may consider alternatives north of London (e.g. Elstree, Cranfield, Cambridge). HISTORY • Purchased new by European Air Transport, then an air taxi company in Belgium and registered OO-JPC. Brought to the UK in 1996 by an aircraft dealer and registered G-BWVO. Following an overhaul, it was purchased in early 1997 and registered G-IFFR. • We were originally a 4 member family-based group. Following the passing of the other members it has been in my sole ownership since 2018. • Based at RAF Henlow from 1997. Hangarage became available around 2012, and it was hangered there until the airfield was closed in 2020. Based at IWM Duxford since then. • Maintained since 1997 by Brinkley Aircraft Services Ltd at Meppershall, Beds. • First Garmin avionics overhaul in 2010. Second, to current spec, in 2022. PROPOSAL • The zero-houring of the engine has been a significant investment. So, I am selling shares to create a new group of between 3 and 6 co-owners. This is your chance to co-own an extremely well-specified tourer with a zero houred engine capable of carrying 4 adults (or 2 adults and 3 or 4 children) and masses of baggage and 650nm range. • Indicative costing (based on, say, 4 co-owners) o Quarter share: £35,000 ono. o Monthly overheads (to cover parking, insurance and maintenance): £250 - £300. o Fuel: at cost to the pilot (currently around £140ph).
