Bolkow BO.209 Monsun

A most immaculately presented example of this two seat aircraft. S/N 101, the first one of 102 produced. Airframe 2158 hrs +/- Lycoming O-320-E2C Engine - 2158 hrs +/- (on condition, although an overhaul has been performed). Hartzell HC-C2YL-1BF Propeller - full strip down and inspection performed, some parts replaced that were close to tolerance, Form 1 issued allowing further 6 years before inspection. Internally, panel created with Trig comm and transponder, EDM 700 engine monitor. Interior metal work stripped and painted in grey to match panel. Inside and outside of canopy stripped and finished in white. All German placards removed and replaced with English 'embossed' placards. Recent full leather seating in black with diamond shape red stitching. Interior side panels replaced which match the seating. LED landing light replaced. In the aerobatic category (reduced MTOW) basic Aeros can be performed to max +4.0 and -2.0. (accelerometer removed, but it is available). Further restoration and improvement works involve replacing carpeting (nearly complete), replacement of nav lights with modern LED's, replacement of wing walks. This work can either be completed by a new owner or the current owner. Internal Condition: 10/10 External Condition: 9/10 The aircraft can sometimes be confused for 'new' as the condition is very good, with people often surprised when told that it was built in 1970!
