Merlin SSDR for Sale

I have decided to put My SSDR Merlin G-CJTD up for sale to fund my next aircraft. I have owned the Merlin from new and can thoroughly recommend the flying experience it offers. The flying characteristics of the Merlin are well balanced and responsive. If you are looking for a reliable SSDR microlight the Merlin should be on your bucket list. The Merlin is an all-metal high wing monocoque and powered by a Rotax 582 Blue top with just over 100 hours on both engine and airframe. It cruises happily at 5000rpm and indicates 85mph. There are two wing tanks each holding 20 litres giving over two hours duration. Fuel burn is between 10 and 13 litres per hour. There is a full set of analogue instruments as can be seen in the photos. The American dealer Chip Erwin https://www.aeromarine-lsa.com/ has produced many videos that are well worth watching to get an overall impression of the Merlin. The aircraft is based in North Northumberland. Previously I flew from a farm strip (now closed) There were two grass runways each about 260 metres in length which clearly demonstrates the short field capabilities of the Merlin.
