The aircraft is currently based in Spain but registered in Switzerland where tax have been paid for. Owned and operated by a private individual. The 280FX delivers excellent performance, an enviable safety record, and low direct operating costs. The turbocharged power plant provides excellent high-altitude performance. The high inertia, fully articulated rotor system provides safety and stability, as well as a smooth ride and exceptional autorotation capabilities. With a maximum take-off weight of 1179 kg and a cruising speed of 90knt this is an all-round practicable rotorcraft. The engine has been overhauled by the end of 2018 and has just 180hrs SOH, engine TBO is 1500hrs or 12/2030. Components have great remaining times; Airwolf TT straps have been installed 04/2024
