The Garmin autopilot makes flying this aircraft long distance such a pleasure especially when flying around and under the London TMA. It will hold a given altitude to within 50 feet even on thermic days. Plan your flight in SkyDemon and let the autopilot take the strain while you maintain radio comms and lookout. The engine is serviced typically at 50 to 60 hour intervals (almost twice as frequent as Rotax prescribe). Always used Rotax XPS oil and has never been run on Avgas 100 LL (low lead) fuel. Tanis engine preheat means no cold start or excessive engine wear from cold starting. Oil, cylinders and crank case are preheated and engine starts without choke and runs smoothly right from startup. Always hangared and based at Sherburn. Carpets and seats like new because always had mats / towel covers. Flown regularly so hours will increase. For more details or to view please call me.
