1960 Piper PA-24-250 Comanche, G-BAHJ. A superb, corrosion-free example of this classic four-seat tourer, extensively upgraded and exceptionally well equipped – a proper 150-knot touring aircraft. The 250 hp Lycoming O-540-A1B5 has 335 hours since overhaul, matched by a three-blade McCauley propeller, also 335 hours. Smart beige leather seats with red piping, a spacious cabin and generous rear baggage area make it ideal for weekends away and longer trips. Distinctive white, red, black and silver scheme with red leading edges and polished spinner. The aircraft is currently undergoing its annual at Comanche specialists and will be sold with a fresh annual. UK VAT paid. Logbooks back to 1980.
