Savannah VG Camit

Here is my Savannah VG (G-MSAV), which first flew in May 2021. I am the original owner and builder, and I have owned both the aircraft and the engine from new. The Savannah is highly regarded for its Short Takeoff and Landing abilities, and as this is the VG version, it boasts vastly improved cruise and glide performance while retaining that exceptional STOL capability. The aircraft has always been hangared. It is fitted with a genuine solid-lifter Camit engine. Please note that this is a factory Camit, not merely a modified Jabiru. The Camit engine is widely recognised as an outstanding evolution of the Jabiru design. It takes the fundamental Jabiru architecture and meticulously engineers out the known issues, leaving you with all the benefits of a Jabiru but with superb reliability. This specific engine has been entirely faultless. Furthermore, in June of this year, it was taken to Kevin Hyam of Camit UK and upgraded with forged pistons. The airframe currently has 245 hours, and the engine has 337 hours. These figures will increase slightly as the aircraft is still in active use. The aircraft specification includes: Trig TT21 transponder Funke ATR8335 radio Dynon D3 SkyEcho Electric carburettor heat Hercules propeller Outdoor cabin cover (never used, as the aircraft is always kept inside) I have decided to retire from flying. The sale also includes two Lightspeed Zulu ANR headsets, fuel cans, and a selection of spares and service items. You can view the aircraft at Strathaven Airfield.
