Rans RANS S-6

reluctantly For sale is my superb RANS S6ES with the rotax 582 blue top oil injection engine. The s6 is a great aircraft, very stable and predictable, easy to fly with good short field capability. this example had a major overhaul in 2024 including full set of new dacron skins, full fuelage and wing frame inspection, new transparencies, brakes upgraded to blackmax hydraulic discs, new fuel lines, new pitot line, later strengthened nose leg, new tyres, and main wheels. also full decoke with genuine rotax parts. the engine starts easily, runs and pulls fantastic and is oil injected so no fuel mixing. i cruise at 70mph at 5900rpm at around 13ltrs/hour, the aircraft has twin wing tanks carrying 30 ltrs per tank. airframe hours are 414, engine hours 444, 50 hours since decoke. new radiator fitted. carbs have heater jackets but are not connected. aircraft includes yaesu 450 radio, co detector, usb and car charging points and 2 headsets. also available are several spares including wheel spats, full nose cone, main and nose u/c legs aircraft hangered at saint michaels northern microlights. ring for any other detail or query,permit june 27
