Cessna 182

I'm looking for two more pilots to join a small Cessna 182 touring group based at Redhill. G-KKTG is a well-equipped 1981 Cessna 182R and makes a fantastic step up for anyone wanting to do more serious touring. It's a genuine four-seat aircraft with a 1,198 lb useful load, plenty of performance and a very capable IFR/VFR avionics fit. The idea is simple: good access to a capable touring aircraft, a small group and no large equity share to buy. The group is limited to a maximum of seven members, so the aim is to maintain good availability and make it practical to take the aircraft away for weekends and longer trips around the UK, Channel Islands and Europe rather than just local flying. Costs £260 per month £60 per hour dry £750 refundable security deposit There is no equity purchase required, so you get the benefits of access to a C182 without having a large amount of capital tied up in an aircraft share. Membership is based on an initial 12-month commitment, simply so that we can keep the group small and stable. Who would it suit? I'd particularly like to hear from pilots who want to do some proper touring and make good use of the aircraft rather than simply hour-build. You don't need hundreds of hours or previous C182 experience. Low-hour PPLs are very welcome to get in touch if you're current and comfortable progressing onto the aircraft. I'm an experienced instructor and can provide the familiarisation and differences training needed to get you comfortable with the 182. Most importantly, I'm hoping to build a friendly, sensible group of pilots who enjoy flying and look after the aircraft.
