Aircraft was involved in an accident and dismantled for removal from the scene. Engine was inspected by Federal Institute for Flight Accident Investigation with no internal damage found. Engine mount and landing gear must be replaced. Wings damaged; supporting struts okay. Propeller (4-blade wood/plastic) can be repaired by replacing blades. Avionics, glass cockpit, autopilot and antennas undamaged. Cabin damaged from front (below) and at firewall. Cowling and windshield must be completely renewed. Oil pan scratched externally, needs replacement but no leakage. Engine potential remaining: 1998 hours to TBO (2000 hours TBO minus 2 hours since overhaul).
