Aeronca Chief

The Chief is a delight to fly. It has been restored to a high standard and flies beautifully, an excellent example of its type. I am building an RV6 so the plane is not being flown enough, and now needs a bigger group to enjoy it and maintain it. The field is in a beautiful part of East Sussex in the Downs, easy to get to and home a small group of friendly flyers. Complete nut and bolt rebuild with new Poly-Fibre covering, new spars and zero timed engine in 2018, 100 hours since. Great to fly with good availability, hangared at Swanborough Farm near Lewes, a beautiful part of East Sussex. Must have at least 50 hours tailwheel and be happy to contribute to ongoing maintenance and upkeep of private strip. Will need to join private flying club, friendly and supportive group. I am currently building an RV6 and this plane is not being flown enough, it deserves to be flown and seen, a great example of its type.
